Statement of Faith

The Jesus Fellowship Church, which includes the New Creation Christian Community upholds and practises orthodox Christian truth, being reformed, evangelical and charismatic; practising believer's baptism and the New Testament reality of Christ's Church; believing in Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; in the full divinity, atoning death and bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the Bible as God's Word, fully inspired by the Holy Spirit.

This Church desires to witness to the Lordship of Christ Jesus over and in His Church; and by holy character, righteous society and evangelical testimony to declare that Jesus Christ, Son of God, the only Saviour, is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and through Him alone can men find and enter the Kingdom of God.

The Church proclaims free grace, justification by faith in Christ and the sealing and sanctifying baptism in the Holy Spirit.

The Jesus Fellowship upholds the historic creeds of the Christian faith: the Apostles' Creed, the Athanasian Creed and the Nicene Creed.

The Jesus Fellowship is part of the Multiply Christian Network, and is a member of the Evangelical Alliance UK. The Fellowship supports the Evangelical Alliance's Mission Statement and Basis of Faith and Evangelical Relationships Commitment.

The Vision

The Vision, to take the good news of Jesus onto the streets, to be His witnesses, to demonstrate His love and to create an environment where the love and heart of Jesus for all nations can be lived out daily in a practical way.

To provide an atmosphere where all can dwell together in unity in a life of sharing, justice, simplicity and heart relationships, where the rejected can find acceptance, the castout a family, the poor and needy equality, where those who have lost all hope can have their hope restored in the sure knowledge that Jesus loves and died for them, and the christian searching for a New Testament way of living an Acts 2 Christian Community.
